Annual Consortium meeting in Brussels: thank you!

On Wednesday, 12 February 2020, all the partners of the MAX project gathered in Brussels, Belgium, for their second Annual Consortium meeting. Organised by Diesis Network, the event was a great success thanks to the valuable participation and contributions from all the partners!

During the first session of the day, UNITEE presented the WP1, including the presentation of the 2019 activities, achievements and challenges, as well as the reporting period and strategy of the project. The project officer from the EU Commission working on the MAX project then greeted the partners for their great job and activities. After a coffee break, IDEA  presented the WP2, with the activities done (last deliverables submitted) and the strategy for the next step (persuasive messages and database construction). The Local   followed with the presentation of the WP3, and informed about the recent launch of trainings for European migration reporters. You can find more information and how to sign up here. WP4 was then presented by AEIDL, with a workshop focusing on the Diversity Dialogue Fora. Lots of brainstorming, exchanges and questioning were raised!

Followed by a delicious lunch cooked by We Exist, a syrian-funded association, Diesis Network updated the partners on the communication activities and the next steps to implement the dissemination and communication strategy. After some technical tips and tricks for effective smartphone interviews given by Diesis Network, partners were invited to practice and interview KMOP, PMF, IDEA  and Youth Included.

Partners were then invited for a guided group tour at the House of European History and concluded the day at a social dinner at Place du Luxembourg, next to the European Parliament.
