Diverse ways of thinking can inspire creativity, drive innovation and bring new insights to address things from a different, perhaps more efficient, perspective.

In Italy, more than 3.6 million Third Country Nationals are residents in the country, representing approximately 6% of the total population. The largest foreign communities are Albanians (8.4%), and Moroccans (8%). The educational system plays a crucial role in the integration of migrants. In the 2017/2018 school year, there were 841,719 foreign students in Italian schools (9.7% of the total school population), an increase of 16,000 compared to the previous school year.

With our local DDF,  we aim at having a joint discussion to learn how migration can benefit the socio-economic development of our European societies in general and Italian cities in particular, and how better tailored vocational, education, and training programs can tackle some of the existing barriers to creating more inclusive and prosperous societies.

See you on the 22nd of February!
