The Czech DDF, “MAX: storytelling through the camera of Antonio Cossa”, organised by Youth Included will take place in person in Prague on 9 September 2021 from 7:00 pm CEST.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the results achieved by the MAX project as well as enjoy a photojournalism exhibition offered by Antonio Cossa.
Antonio Cossa is a documentary photographer, a storyteller of the stories which are hidden behind the numbers in the articles, behind the reportages on TV about war or refugee camps. He is a person who speaks out loud for those, who often do not have a voice and are doomed for silence.
Antonio Cossa has studied Documentary photography, Literary Journalism and Film. From 2015, he started to work on the frontline of the worst refugee crisis since the Second World War He started to on the Middle East conflicts including the war in Syria. Antonio document the refugee journey from the Greek island of Lesbos, Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia, Austrian Border and Calais known as the Jungle.
In 2018, Antonio also covered the terrible journey of the Rohingya refugees fleeing the genocide in Myanmar.
After deep studying and researching in theory and practice of the migration issues, Antonio decided to share his experience with the public.
During the lecture:
Antonio Cossa will be showing the complete Documentary with commentary and storytelling starting from the Greek island of Lesbos, Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia, Austria and Calais known as The Jungle + additional material from the refugees of war Mozambique and Bangladesh.
